6 Months Left… Can IIT-JEE be cracked now?

Well, the name is definitely suggestive (or so i hope). Many people have been asking this question from me, and i thought that i would rather write an article on it, for the collective good of every aspirant. Let’s crack JEE with only 5-6 months of preparation. Here it goes….

Journey from a back-bencher to IIT Dhanbad

After completing my 10th std, I took admission in a school integrated program of Bansal Classes. I had a dream. The dream was to crack JEE, make my family proud by becoming an IITian. Study materials, faculty and everything was at par with the JEE prep at Bansals but unfortunately I just got off the track and lost my interest in studies and got completely slipped away from the dream of my life:- “CRACKING IIT JEE”. I became a back bencher in the classroom least bothered about any kind of homework or practicing problems.

Morrison Boyd : Organic Chemistry

Well, Organic Chemistry has a certain beauty to it, from an exam point of view. The beauty is that although questions framed from it are quite easy, we are not able to solve it at times. Some things remain vague, and perhaps for a reason. After all, organic chemistry is not like other subject where you can study for a month and excel in it.

How to clear JEE in a short time, viz 3-4 months

I was a regular school goer all my 11th and the first two months of my 12th. I was not attending any coaching. I had a enrolled in a test series (FIITJEE I think) and got volumes of material which I would occasionally flip through. A decent performance at school level academics kept me oblivious to the time I was losing. Fast forward 10 months and I was battling it out against all the engineering aspirants of the country in a gruelling 6 hour JEE Advanced test that changed my life. I want to convey through this piece of writing that it is possible to get a decent JEE rank in a short time provided that one is ready to accept the challenge and dedicate his time and efforts. Do bad marks actually mean anything?

In  case you were wondering, bad marks do not mean anything significant, other than the fact that you did not fit into the standardized grading scheme of the examining body. By the way, this fact includes your college grades too. But then, grades are just a quantitative measure of your belief in the system and not a measure of your abilities or talent.  Continue reading Do bad marks actually mean anything?

Should you take a second attempt to crack JEE ?

Should I take a second attempt at the JEE? MANY students after 12th face this dilemma. There’s this feeling that had we been less careless, we could have done better and made everyone proud. Hope it helps! Continue reading Should you take a second attempt to crack JEE ?

We Petition !

We at Prepsera understand the need of the students, especially Indian students. With the toughest exams for us to crack, it kind of gets a bumpy ride in our High School Life.

Not that we should quit working  hard…. it is just that even hard working kids tend to get a lesser recognition than they actually deserve, especially in the competitive exams. These competitive exams are basically one day affairs, and we believe that one day is not enough to gauge the abilities and hard work of a candidate. Hence, we believe that there should be more opportunities of a level akin to the IITs. Continue reading We Petition !
